Yes and can you remember what the living room and the kitchen looked like?
D
There was a nice kitchen and a living room, a back door and a front door and 2 bedrooms to begin with, then eventually we had a 3 bedroomed house. Very convenient. When we first went to Calgarth to live the rent was 8 shillings a week! So it was very reasonable
I
Yes
D
And Ronnie, my husband, who came from Southport, worked on the Ribble buses as a summer driver and then he of course had to find a job during the winter which he did and he went back on the Ribble and he was there for about 18 years. No not quite 18 years but a long time.
I
And when did you move out of the house – how long were you there for?
D
In 1958
